Born in Moscow in 1956.
1983 graduates from the Moscow Art School in Memory of 1905 under the tuition of Y. G. Sedova.
1987 accepts invitation to join the youth association of the USSR Union of Artists.
September 20 through October 24, 2005 Member of the Russian Union of Artists since 1991.
Participates in regional, republican and all-union artistic exhibitions.
The works of N. V. Burtov can be found in museums in Russia and in private collections in Japan, USA, Germany and other countries.
